TEXT
The desire of man to translate his deepest feelings, thoughts and actions into writing is a process of discovery. This discovery has allowed man to satisfy this need for expression by communicating what is within himself. For
example, primitive man discovered through writing that he could tell
his experiences, and for this he began to write on the rocks narrating
the daily events. (Ramírez) defines here the writing as the
enabler of expression, of explanation, of synthesis; a beautiful
opportunity to transform, create, know, externalize. On
the other hand, writing reveals as a mirror the ideas and emotions as
an experience of perception of reality in an act of reflection and
awareness. A clear example of how
writing allows to cross the limits of the perception of reality, is the
diary of Anne Frank, a Jewish girl who narrated from his experience, the
horrors of war. Habermas (1990:
211) states that "writing allows us to face reality from different
perspectives, avoiding to restrict it to a single form of worldview."
Questions and answers from classmates about the paragraph ..
Do you think that the only way to face reality from different perspectives is writing?
According to your question, it seems quite convenient to me
Habermas's sentence about how we can cross the limits of the perception
of reality and this sentence gives us a clear example of Anne Frank who
found in her writing a way to express her pain and impotence on the
difficult situation that she was living at that time, because she knew
that it was the only way she could do it at that time. I do not think
writing it's the only way to face reality, but it's quite important.
Don`t you think that speaking is also a good way to face reality from different perspectives?
And with respect to the other question, speaking is one of the ways
in which we can also express our perception about the world that
surrounds us because it is another way of saying what I think. Through
it I can face the person who has another thought different from mine and
express my points of view and communicate with others face to face be.
Although through writing we are more capable of writing without fear
everything that is inside us because it does not limit us as it can be
the speaking in many occasions.
