TEXT

Writing is a typically human way of transmitting information or expresses an idea; however it is a difficult job, requiring more than one attempt when presenting the message among other important skills in writing process. Writing involves a student to learn a complex range of skills for example: the student has to learn to form letters, get a vocabulary, and learn the correct spelling of words, how to organize his thoughts in order to convey ideas, how to use correct grammar, and punctuation. It is a lot, isn´t it? And all this complex skills make students feel frustrated and near to become crazy wanting to write a text, like me in this moment, I have had to edit my paragraph many times and I cannot imagine if I had to write a book. Nathaniel Hawthorne (1868) was a 19th-century American novelist and short story writer and stated that “Easy reading is damn hard writing”. And I agree with him the profession of writer requires practice, discipline, imagination, research and different techniques according to the specific gender; but writing is not a thing of only writers because every day we face different types of documents: an executive report, a letter, a communication from the company to its public, a task at school or university, a thesis, among many others, and this requires a minimum steps for being understood.  Amy Joy is American professor of writing and also writer and she sustains that “Anyone who says writing is easy isn't doing it right” and she is right. I cannot deny that walking is learned by walking, without any preparation it is impossible to do it, so in any writing is the same: practice makes it perfect. It is not an easy task but we can domain it.

Question

What kind of paragraph could be the most appropriate for teaching students who are beginning to learn English?

I think, there is not an specific  paragraph for learning or teaching a language because  I am really sure that practice makes it perfect, so if students want to learn how to write well they just have to write. However, it is a good strategy  to start writing something interesting and to learn all the techniques about how to write well. The best advice is writing, writing and writing.
